Mitsubishi Outlander (Update)

Facelift adds technology, styling, and suspension changes with modest price rises. Localised ride, handling and steering tune and a new Bridgestone tyre package. Noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) reduced, same powertrains, scores more kit, additional safety tech.

Mini JCW

A bevy of new performance models arrive including, for the first time, all-electric JCW options. The range kicks off with updated petrol runners, building on the outgoing models in various permutations including hatch, convertible and SUV variants using BMW tech.

MG 3 Vibe

Budget-friendly Vibe variant is added to popular MG 3 range the cheapest competitor in the Light passenger segment. Petrol-powered running a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 81kW/142Nm economy is rated at 6.0 litres per 100km on standard 91RON petrol.

MG S5 EV

Replaces the ZS EV at drive-away pricing with a 7kW Charge Hub for first 500 buyers. Single drive motor with two battery sizes available in 49kWh and 62kWh with claimed ranges of 415km and 515km. A 30-80 per cent charging time of 19 minutes possible via a 150kW DC fast charger.

MG QS

MG Motor’s keenly anticipated QS seven-seat SUV available in Excite and Essence trims powered exclusively by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 153kW/360Nm and a conventional nine-speed automatic transmission. PHEV version is coming soon.

MG Cyberster RWD

Cheaper rear-wheel drive version of the Cyberster is lighter and with longer battery range (552km). It is visually indistinguishable from dual-motor model and complete with scissor doors. Maxes out at 250kW/475Nm for a claimed 5.2 second 0-100km/h sprint.

Lexus LBX Morizo RR

Powered by the same Toyota GR Yaris turbocharged 1.6-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 206kW/390Nm, the LBX Morizo RR can clock 0-100km/h in just 5.2 seconds. It features an all-wheel drive system as standard, alongside a rear Torsen limited-slip differential.

Ford Ranger PHEV

Electrified Ranger asks premium price over bi-turbo diesel-powered model range. Comprising XLT, Sport, Wildtrak, and limited-edition Stormtrak grades, all Ranger PHEVs use a combined 2.3-litre turbo four-cylinder petrol engine and 75kW electric motor fed by an 11.8kWh battery.

Chery C5

Formerly called Omoda 5, the restyled C5 is offered in two grades – Urban and Ultimate – offering much the same level of specification as before with several mechanical upgrades including a six-speed dual-clutch transmission replacing previous CVT, and multi-link rear suspension.

Volvo XC90 (Update)

Follows in the tyre tracks of recently launched fully electric EX90 Large segment SUV ushering in high-end tech and recent design elements from the big BEV. Prices rise, styling tweaked inside and outside, more standard equipment, OTA capable, same hybrid powertrains.
