New models - Cupra - TerramarCupra sharpens Terramar dealsTerramar offered with driveaway deals, free upgrades, discounted finance until 30 September11 Aug 2026 By MATT BROGAN CUPRA Australia has introduced driveaway pricing, free option packages, and discounted finance across its Terramar range as the Spanish brand looks to build momentum for its newest medium SUV.
Available until 30 September, the offers include a 5.85 per cent comparison rate across MY26 Terramar models financed through Cupra Choice, while entry-level S and mid-specification V variants receive the $1600 Leather and Sound Package at no additional cost.
The Terramar S is now advertised from $58,490 driveaway including the Leather and Sound Package, while the more powerful all-wheel-drive Terramar V is available from $66,490 d/a with the same equipment.
The package adds Deep Burgundy leather-appointed upholstery and a 12-speaker Sennheiser premium audio system.
Cupra is also advertising the Terramar S from $199 per week under its Cupra Choice finance program.
That offer requires a 10 per cent deposit over a 36-month term with a 30,000km allowance and carries a guaranteed future value (GFV) of $29,846.
The total amount repayable is listed at $60,877, with establishment and other applicable fees and charges additional.
Cupra Choice allows customers at the conclusion of the finance term to trade the vehicle, return it subject to stipulated conditions, or retain it by paying the outstanding GFV.
The offers arrive as the Terramar establishes itself in Australia’s highly competitive medium SUV segment following its local introduction.
According to VFACTS sales figures, Cupra registered 293 Terramars to the end of July 2026, compared with 2088 examples of the related Volkswagen Tiguan over the same period.
The Audi Q3, which is manufactured alongside the Terramar in Hungary, recorded 1245 sales between January and July.
Cupra’s overall Australian sales are also down 31 per cent year-to-date, with the brand recording 1211 deliveries to the end of July.
Part of that decline can be attributed to the changeover of the Formentor, with the outgoing version in run-out during the first half of the year ahead of the arrival of the facelifted range.
The Terramar effectively replaces the Ateca in Cupra’s SUV portfolio and shares its underpinnings with other Volkswagen Group products, including the latest Tiguan.
Four Terramar variants are offered locally, spanning mild-hybrid, petrol, and plug-in hybrid powertrains.
The entry Terramar S uses a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance, producing 110kW and 250Nm and driving the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Stepping up to the Terramar V brings a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder producing 150kW and 320Nm, together with all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The performance-oriented VZ increases outputs from the 2.0-litre engine to 195kW and 400Nm, again driving all four wheels.
At the top of the range, the VZe plug-in hybrid combines a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor and 25.8kWh gross-capacity lithium-ion battery.
Combined output is rated at 200kW and 400Nm, while Cupra claims more than 100km of electric-only driving range.
Before on-road costs, the MY26 Terramar range is priced from $53,990 for the S, $61,990 for the V and $68,200 for the VZ, while the flagship VZe lists from $77,990.
Current advertised driveaway pricing is $58,490 for the S, $66,490 for the V and $73,490 for the VZ.
The 5.85 per cent comparison-rate offer applies to new and demonstrator MY26 Terramar models financed through Cupra Financial Services and requires a 10 per cent deposit and 36-month term.
The current Terramar offers end on 30 September 2026, unless withdrawn, changed, or extended earlier.
