Future models - Rolls-Royce - Spectre - Series IIRolls-Royce Spectre Series II revealedRolls-Royce’s EV coupé gets more power, more range, and interior and exterior tweaks5 Jun 2026 ROLLS-ROYCE has revealed the Spectre Series II which arrives with a host of updates for the high-end luxury brand’s first battery electric model in both standard and Black Badge specification.
Its WLTP driving range has risen from 530km to 628km, marking an increase of over 18 per cent, while charging times have dropped by a claimed 14 per cent.
Power and torque have also increased to 442kW and 1015Nm while the Black Badge’s Infinity Mode provides 500kW and 1100Nm in Spirited Mode, making it the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever built.
Beyond performance enhancement, both versions of the Spectre Series II have received visual additions both inside and out.
For the exterior, the Spectre Series II has received a new 23-inch alloy wheel design and is now available in a new Ethereal Blue paint finish.
Meanwhile, the Black Badge receives Iced Black exterior detailing for the grille surround, side frame finishers, bumper inserts, badging, door handles and the Spirit of Ecstasy bonnet ornament along with an open-spoke wheel design with a polished outer ring.
Inside, the scope of interior options has been expanded with new available materials, treatments and “crafted details”.
Duality Twill (a rayon fabric made from bamboo), Placed Perforation leather (which uses precision cut patterns to reveal unique artworks), and a new high gloss Brindled Walnut veneer can all be specified for the Spectre Series II interior.
A new illuminated fascia artwork and an aviation-inspired clock are also listed among the interior changes while the interior panel and clock gallery now span the entire width of the fascia.
Prior to the Series II’s announcement, in 2025 the Spectre retained its position as Rolls-Royce’s second-best selling model globally.
Of course – relatively speaking compared to the rest of the automotive industry that is – don’t expect the updated model to be a particularly high-volume model.
Last year Rolls-Royce sold a grand total of 67 cars in Australia across its entire line-up.
However, the Spectre is still an important car for Rolls-Royce, with the brand’s chief executive Chris Brownridge describing its “extraordinary” global reception and the Series II’s expanded personalisation possibilities.
“Spectre is a landmark motor car for Rolls-Royce – conceived by our engineers, designers and craftspeople, informed by our clients and acclaimed the world over,” he said.
“It amplifies the qualities our clients value most: silence, effortlessness and abundant power, confirming that Rolls-Royce is perfectly suited to electrification.
“This motor car’s extraordinary reception around the world has also established Spectre as one of the most compelling canvases for Bespoke in our contemporary product portfolio, inspiring clients to pursue ever more individual and ambitious commissions.
“With Spectre Series II, we extend those possibilities even further.”
Australian pricing and arrival times are yet to be officially confirmed by Rolls-Royce but expect it to be among the most expensive battery electric models currently offered locally considering that title is currently held by the outgoing Spectre Black Badge at $933,000 plus on-road costs.
